Over 600 GOAL High School Staff Unify in Pueblo to Ring In 2024-2025 Together!

Get ready for an electrifying event as the Pueblo Convention Center gears up to host the annual GOAL High School Forum – formerly known as ‘kickoff’– showcasing GOAL High School’s unwavering dedication to professional development and fostering a vibrant school culture. Brace yourself for an adrenaline-fueled extravaganza from July 23rd to 25th, as more than 600 enthusiastic staff members, traveling from as far as Grand Junction, Craig and Durango.
Staff members can expect team-building adventures, including thrilling Arkansas River float trips, rejuvenating “goat yoga” sessions, and delightful cruises along the historic Union Avenue Riverwalk. But that’s just the beginning!
The excitement continues at the Pueblo Convention Center, with two days of intensive training and professional development sessions. Led by seasoned educators boasting advanced degrees, these sessions promise to unlock new horizons in technology, innovation, and online learning.
Constance Jones PhD, the visionary CEO of GOAL High School, along with her cabinet of experts, have handpicked Pueblo as the event’s location, paying homage to the school’s rich history rooted in the “Steel City,” but continually spreading its statewide wings. The secrets behind the patented EXCEL model, renowned for cultivating a culture of positivity will be emphasized throughout the conference.
Under the expert guidance of Lynee Zajac-Beck, GOAL’s dynamic Learning & Development Coordinator, attendees will embark on a journey through a diverse array of courses tailored to every level of experience. From fresh faces to seasoned veterans, every staff member will find themselves empowered, educated, and primed for success as they embrace GOAL High School’s 2024-25 mantra, coined by veteran teacher and Pueblo native, Mr. Jeff Perkins: “Elevate – Motivate – Graduate”.
